Marco (35), known in the industry as “Bambù”, is a porn director. From the outside, his life might look glamorous – a nice house, a bit of notoriety – but the surface hides the desperation eating away at him. He’s far from the perfect father, drifting further from his family to the point of missing his daughter’s birthday yet again.

Day by day, his emotional detachment from them deepens, keeping him at arm’s length. Marco channels his frustration into work, obsessively searching for the perfect actress to fill the emptiness inside.

Then, during an audition, he meets Lucy (21) – a young woman with the air of the girl next door, but an agenda of her own. She knows auditions don’t pay, and the moment she senses Marco’s attraction, she asks to be compensated for the sex scenes they’re about to film.

Intrigued and drawn to her, Marco agrees without hesitation. But he also wants to know who Lucy really is – and what she’s hiding. After the casting, he follows her and uncovers something that forces him to choose: help Lucy and finally face his responsibilities, or walk away as he’s always done with his family.
